BBC-trained with over 20 years' experience recording for major broadcasters, from studio interviews to remote and challenging locations — busy city streets, live events, and everything in between.

Music on location, alongside standard PSC work

Alongside dialogue and interview sound recording, I also record music on location, often bringing in extra mixers and mics for this as an additional service — a different discipline to standard PSC work, and not something every location recordist takes on. This has included:

  • Only Men Aloud in Mumbai (Jan 2017) — recording Welsh vocal group Only Men Aloud on location for a cultural collaboration with the Songbound charity, performing a new Hindi song with Bollywood composer Rahul Pandey and local children, filmed on location including at Film City

  • Festival Interceltique de Lorient — location recording, Brittany, France

  • BBC 6 Music Festival, Cardiff — location recording for the BBC's live music festival
